Description

The processing of industrial waste, particularly wastewater needs to be done properly, because of the lack of proper sewage treatment will cause environmental pollution that could result in environmental damage. Wastewater in industrial activity contains many substances harmful chemicals coming from the rest of the raw material, residual solvents or additives, product wasted or failed, washing and rinsing equipment and blow down and some equipment such as kettle boiler, cooling water systems, and sanitary wastes. In order to fulfill quality standards, a company or industry should apply the principle of careful control and integrated waste both in the production process (in-pipe pollution prevention) and after the production process (end-pipe pollution prevention). Controlling the production process aims to reduce the volume of waste generated, as well as the concentration and toxicity of the contaminant. While controlling after the production process intended to reduce levels of pollution materials to the limit quality standards. This training will provide an understanding of wastewater treatment technologies as steps that can be taken to reduce waste.
