In the mining activities, mine planning is a systematic preparation process regarding the mining activities to be carried out. Mine planning can be used as the main guideline for all mining activities in order to achieve effective, efficient, productive and safe mining activities. To make it easier for engineers in mine planning, Geovia Surpac software is currently available, which is the most popular software in the world for geology and mine planning that supports open pit or underground mining. Geovia surpac meets the requirements of geologists, surveyors and mine planners. This training will provide an understanding of Geovia Surpac by introducing the user interface and its use for mining operations.

Purpose

After the training, the participant expected to:

1. Understand the concept of mining planning using Surpac.
2. Know the user interface of Surpac and operate it.
3. Create plot files form Surpac
